Our Club has a long tradition of offshore and ocean sailing and is home to accomplished sailors who have completed circumnavigations and major ocean passages in both racing and cruising campaigns. These achievements demonstrate exceptional seamanship, preparation, endurance and a spirit of adventure and highlight a different but equally respected pathway of sailing excellence, demonstrating the breadth of ambition and capability that defines sailing at Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

We also celebrate sailors who have won National, European and World Championship titles, progressed through elite programmes such as the Griffin Project and the Athena Pathway, and achieved standout results in prestigious events including the Fastnet Race and other major coastal and offshore regattas. These successes showcase the Club's strength and ambition across dinghy and yacht racing, and its commitment to supporting sailors at every stage of their journey.
