Racing & Regattas Racing Results Calendar Junior & Youth
We welcome dinghy sailors of all ages and abilities to join us on the water, whether for fun or to take part in our active racing programme across Portsmouth Yardstick (PY) handicap fleets and strong one-design classes, including Lymington River Scows, Optimists, RS Teras, Lasers, RS Aeros, RS Fevas, 420s and 29ers. From Monday and Friday evening racing to class racing and open meetings, there are plenty of opportunities to race throughout the season, both on the Lymington River and The Solent. With varied courses and friendly competition, sailors can develop their skills, enjoy close racing and make lasting friendships.
Junior & Youth
The Junior and Youth programme offers a structured, year-round pathway designed to support young sailors at every stage of their development. During the sailing season this includes regular training, coached racing and informal sessions on the water, while the winter programme focuses on shore-based activity, skills development and social events that keep young sailors engaged and connected throughout the year.
Dinghy Hire
Don't own a dinghy? You can still enjoy the fun! We have a well-maintained Club fleet available for hire by Members, providing easy access to a range of classes - Optimist, RS Tera, RS Zest, RS Feva, RS Aero, Scow, ILCA and Melges 15.
