ILCA Fleet
The ILCA fleet offers high-performance single-handed racing. Combining structured training with regular Club racing and opportunities to compete at open events, our programme focuses on developing boat speed, tactical awareness, physical fitness, and race performance in this internationally recognised Olympic class — providing an ideal progression for sailors moving from junior development into youth and senior racing.
Training
- Tuesday Evening Training Weekly training during the summer season, 5pm–7pm (except August).
- Winter Training One day training twice a month over the winter season.
All our training is open to Members and non-Members.
Events
RLymYC ILCA Open - We host an annual one-day ILCA Open, welcoming young sailors from across the UK.
ILCA Class UK Events - The ILCA Class association hosts events nationwide. We encourage all our ILCA sailors to take part, to have fun, meet new people and further their racing skills.
